The therapeutics of Homoeopathy is developed around the study of man in health and disease. Its application focuses on the study of an individual suffering from a disease, and not on the disease alone. Homoeopathy instils harmony at the mind, body and the spirit level, easing out his / her personal, professional and social life.
With the intention of translating this benefit to the underprivileged sections of the society which is devoid of the holistic health care, the trust has established charitable clinics with the help from like-minded institutions.
The objective of the charitable clinics is not only to provide charitable services to the community but also to provide quality and cost-effective services to all types of urban population. The motto of the urban clinics is ‘Quality assurance in a cost effective way’.
In 1984 the Trust established its first Charitable Clinic in the slums of Jogeshwari – Janata colony, a thickly populated Muslim area. Over the last 20-25 years the Trust has also started charitable clinics in Mahul, Deonar, Ghansoli, and Santacruz.
The clinics not only treat the patients in the clinic, but also conduct camps viz. general health check-ups, detection camps for Diabetes, joint complaints, health check-ups in schools, screening for academic and behavioural issues in school going children, orientation lectures for diet and hygiene for children, importance of exercise and homoeopathy in rheumatic complaints.
