About College
Launched in 2002, Dr M L Dhawale Memorial Homoeopathic Institute (MLDMHI), Palghar draws its inspiration from the immense work put in by the late Dr. M. L. Dhawale. He was an eminent Homoeopath of international fame. He based his work on the three cardinal principles viz. Evolving a Standardized approach to clinical practice (a common practice in all Institutes of Excellence the world over), Case-based integrated teaching and training (a sound pedagogy in all Postgraduate Education) and the Principle of Tri-coordinate Care where the teacher is a facilitator and through caring for the Patient and for the Learner (student) is able to demonstrate the care for Knowledge.
- The Training is based on the Homeopathy (Post graduate Degree Course) M.D. (Hom.), 1989 and 2001, 2012 notification issued by the Central Council of Homeopathy, New Delhi and the Syllabus adopted by the MUHS, Nashik.
- All rules prescribed by the Central Council of Homeopathy and the MUHS, Nashik with respect to the Dissertation project-based study etc. are strictly adhered to.

Eligibility
Candidate should pass the Degree examination obtained after undergoing a course of study in Homoeopathy of not less than five and a half years duration including the period of compulsory internship.

- Online registration by candidates for AIA-PGET
- Candidates appear for AIAPGET
- Result declared for AIAPGET & merit list will be shared by AIIA/ MoA with States/UT/ Universities/ Deemed University/ AYUSH Colleges/Institutes.
- Merit list for counselling will be prepared by the concerned states/ UT/ Universities/ Deemed University / AYUSH Colleges/Institutes based on applicable regulation and/or their eligibility criteria, guidelines, applicable reservation policies, benefits for In-service candidates,Rural Service (if applicable) etc.
- Candidates will contact/apply to the concerned State AYUSH Authority (s) / Counseling Authority(s) of the States/UT/ Universities/ Deemed University /AYUSH Colleges/ Institutes for admission based on their choice and fulfillment of eligibility criteria, guidelines, domicile criteria, applicable reservation policies etc.
- Candidates will participate in the Counseling for Admission to available seats in Universities/ Deemed University /AYUSH Colleges/Institutes based on their choice and fulfillment of eligibility criteria, domicile, quota etc.

1. When will the application process for M.D.(Course) admissions begin?
Tentatively starts from July. It may vary every year due to many reasons.
2. What are the eligibility criteria for applying for M.D.(Hom) Course?
Should appear for PGH-CET 2017 conducted by the Government of Maharashtra, State Common Entrance Test Cell, Mumbai and preferences given by the students.www.mahacet.org / www.mahaayush.gov.in
3. What are the eligibility criteria for applying for MD/BHMS for out-of-state students?
Candidate should pass the Degree examination obtained after undergoing a course of study in Homoeopathy of not less than five and a half years duration including the period of compulsory internship.
4. What is the duration of the course?
3 years including 1 year of compulsory house job and 2 years of resident Post-graduate studentship.
4. What are the likely timelines to start the college?
Anytime from September to November depending upon particular year’s exam schedule.
5. What is the fee structure?
Will be displayed on website.
6. How & when do I pay my fees?
By Cheque/DD or NEFT. Details will be provided once admission process will begin.
7. What is the procedure for admission through Management Quota?
Applicant has to fill up and submit management quota application form. S/he will be called for an interview. The seat will be allotted on Merit basis. The further admission process is same as regular admission.
8. Is scholarship/free ship provided for economically deprived students?
Merit based scholarships are offered by the Sir Dorabji Tata Trust to deserving students of this Institute during MD (Hom) Part I and are continued subject to satisfactory performance. Announcement would be made when intimation is received from the Trust office.
Scholarships to students from the minority communities (Parsi/Sikh/Buddhist/Muslim/Christian) whose income is below Rs. 2.50 lakhs per annum are offered by the Government of Maharashtra. The College forwards these applications to the authorities.
Scholarship for SC students whose income is below Rs. 6 lakhs per annum are offered by the Government of India.(Bharat Sarkar Shishyavruti).

9. Is it mandatory to stay on campus even if I am a resident of the same city?
Yes. It is compulsory for everyone to stay on campus till completion of the course. Separate Girls and Boys hostel is available in the campus.
