With more than 40 years of experience as an academician and a well-known homoeopathic Psychiatrist, Dr. Kumar Dhawale is the Managing Trustee of Dr. M. L. Dhawale Memorial Trust (MLDT) and Director of Dr. M. L. Dhawale Memorial Homoeopathic Institute (MLDMHI).
He has served in various academic and research positions such as,

- Member-PG Board of Studies and Faculty of Homoeopathy, MUHS Nashik;
- Chairman, Clinical Research Sub-Committee, CCRH, New Delhi;
- Member, Scientific Advisory Committee, CCRH;
- Consultant- Psychiatry Research projects, CCRH, New Delhi;
- Chairman, Advisory Committee, RRI, Mumbai,
- Member, Research and Ethical Committee, PhD Guide in Psychiatry at MUHS, Nashik.
Currently, he is the Chairman, Scientific Advisory Board, CCRH, New Delhi; Chairman- Ethical Committee, RRI Mumbai; Member, Board of Homoeopathic studies, SGGU Godhra and Prof
Emeritus, Dept of Psychiatry, MLDMHI, Palghar.
He has co-authored a book on Principles and Practice of Homoeopathy and has been an
editor of several Publications, including the most prestigious online Journal of Integrated
Standardized Homeopathy (JISH).
He is the recipient of many awards and honors, namely “Hahnemann Memorial Award” by the Chandrapur Association of Homoeopaths in 2001, “National Hahnemannian Award” by the Research Society of Homoeopathy, Lucknow, Recipient for contribution to Homoeopathy by Father Muller’s Charitable Institutions, Mangalore; “Dr. B. K. Sahani Memorial Award”, Patna in 2013.
